I'm a Chicago-based designer and strategist trying to make the (digital) world a better place. I believe the secret to great design is an impactful and measurable story, centered around our users and the challenges we help them overcome.
BACKGROUND
Since my first hot-pink Dell laptop, I've been obsessed with online experiences. Now, I combine my design and business education (University of Michigan) with professional endeavors (Indeed, Microsoft) to create new experiences and enhance existing ones on it.
It is my goal to ensure all voices are being heard, create genuinely impactful experiences both on and offline, and make people laugh from time to time. (hahaha)

Where do I want to be in 5-10 years?
My heart hopes I'm living in New York City with a fat orange cat named Flapjack (Jack for short) and my partner in crime Harvey. At this point, I've written a book as a passion project and I've completed so many Duolingo lessons I could do a whiteboarding challenge in Spanish.

My brain hopes I'm working on consumer-facing products in a tech, entertainment, media, travel, or mental healthcare vertical. By then, I've taken on more of a design managerial role and I'm helping younger designers grow and make an impact.

If I wasn't a designer, what would I be?
Ideally, the person who holds the cue cards on Saturday Night Live. A noble job that is surrounded by good humor and high energy, but lacks the high stakes and need to be on camera.

Realistically, a writer or journalist. Above anything I love storytelling and finding ways to make sense of how humans are, what our wants and needs are, and ways we overcome difficulties.

There are so many UXers. Why hire me?
I'm a lifelong learner who is not afraid to be seen trying. Through everything I do, I'm always trying to grow as a designer and overall human being. Low on resources and need someone to do research? That's me! Need help with content strategy? Put me in coach!
